Oh my God!!!! Bobby pulled out all the stops on this one!! He opened the show, to much surprise, with Truckin' and that got everyone in the mood quick!! He brought out a true G.D. chestnut with Brown-Eyed Women and another later on in the first set with Tennessee Jed, both of which were definite crowd pleasers. He even brought in more recent material with Hell in a Bucket. The band did excellent versions of his solo material, Lost Sailor, and Saint of Circumstance.... It certainly did "feels like rain" and we all decided to "go fo it fo sho!"

The second set was beyond compare!!!! He opened with acoustic sets on Me an My Uncle and Candyman which took everyone to cloud nine!! When he cranked up into what everyone thought would be The Other One and then slipped into Aiko Aiko, he took us all to cloud 10!!! He slowed down into some awesome bluesy feeling Even So/October Queen and then opened the heavens with The Wheel!!!! That led into one of the most rousing renditions of Samson and Delilah EVER performed!!!! That slowed into a most stirring performance of Wharf Rat and picked up into a MOST VOCAL Not Fade Away!!! The heart of the crowd was so THERE!!!! While the hands were clapping and the voices were chanting, they drifted off stage and then came back to bust into an awesome choice for a show closer: Touch of Grey!!! The spirit of Jerry and Pigpen were soaring over the HOB in Anaheim this night!!! They were happy, as everyone inside the show had so graciously appreciated that the magic was there and we were transformed into THE SHOW!!!! It was truly a miracle show that had everyone hopping and getting involved and becoming the SHOW! If there is any set in the next hundred years that should be put on a Dick's Picks, it should be this show of Bobby's!!!!
