News: Half of Spring Tour Come n Gone
The first half of spring tour has passed--quickly--and has seen a bunch of highlights including many at the Beacon over the weekend. A brief sampling:
  • RatDog played three different versions of "Stagger Lee" at the Beacon--one each night.
[Night 1 Lyrics] [Night 1 Audio]
[Night 2 Lyrics] [Night 2 Audio]
[Night 3 Lyrics] [Night 3 Audio]
  • Guests in NYC - Ms. Donna Jean Godchaux-MacKay, DJ Logic, Jerry Jemmott (bassist for Aretha, among others), Tom Pope (drums), Chuck MacKinnon (trumpet), and Dred Scott (keys). George Garzone, one of Kenny's former sax teachers, joined the fun in Boston.
  • Besides the Stagger Lees, RatDog debuted "Quinn the Eskimo" at the Beacon. "Sitting in Limbo," "Bombs Away," "Gloria," "Lovelight," and "City Girls" have also made appearances for the first time in years.
Still much more great music to be made!!
