Fans at the Sausalito Art Festival got quite a treat when MK appeared on stage Monday with the New Riders for a tune, smilin' and doin' his thing. He appeared later in the day at The Plant Recording Studio for a screening of ''Guitar Man,'' an upcoming documentary that features music from MK—a tune with Delaney Bramlett, Bobby Vega, John Molo, and Pete Sears and another with Bob, Jay, Narada Michael Walden, and Pete Sears. The first batch of fall tour dates is out. As of this morning, 14 dates have been confirmed, including two nights in Hampton Beach, a two-night Halloween run in Westbury, and a four-night run in Florida. Still presumably to be announced are a mid-Atlantic date on November 6, southern dates on November 11-12, and any pre-Hampton dates. Steve Kimock will join the party again this run; MK hopes to be back for a New Year's show... otherwise he'll be back in spring. [Tour Dates]

You Bay Area 'Heads can get out to see some good stuff this weekend. Alphabet Soup and The Band of Brotherz, featuring Jay and Jeff, will play Club Six in SF on Saturday night.
