RatDog's summer tour, which featured a west coast leg with Gov't Mule co-headlining and a mostly-eastern leg with the Allman Brothers on the bill, came to an end Saturday night at Red Rocks. The summer shows were, of course, rife with guest appearances in both directions, and also included RatDog breakouts of "Cream Puff War" (listen below) and "Morning Dew." Next up, "An Evening with RatDog" (read: "No Opener") returns for the band's fall tour on the east coast. (And we mean east coast - the farthest show west is Tampa, and a single show in PA marks the only stop in a state not bordering the Atlantic Ocean.) The tour opens with the traditional two-night Halloween event in Westbury and closes with the traditional multi-night run in Florida. In between, the band bounces around the northeast and plays what is sure to be a pair of intense shows in DC, the first of which is the day after the election.
